About Rachael

Hi, I’m Rachael.

My journey into massage therapy began in a very personal way.

After an accident left my own body carrying the effects of stress and trauma, I experienced firsthand how meaningful intentional bodywork could be during my recovery. It taught me something I still carry with me today: the body is always communicating with us. We just have to learn how to listen.

I graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2012 and have spent more than a decade working with clients throughout York County. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life and in a variety of settings, including clinical environments alongside chiropractors.

Every person and every body is different.

That belief has shaped the way I practice. I’ve always considered myself a lifelong student of the body, continually learning new techniques and exploring the many ways bodywork can support comfort, connection, and well-being. My work may incorporate therapeutic bodywork, traditional massage, passive stretching, lymphatic techniques, energy work, sound, guided meditation, and other practices that encourage a deeper connection between mind and body.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to massage. Instead, I take the time to listen to what you tell me, notice how your body responds, and shape the session around what you need that day. Whether you’re looking for everyday maintenance, support during recovery, athletic support, relief from persistent tension, or simply a place to slow down and reconnect, your session is shaped around you.

Why Authentic Approach?

Authentic Approach is something I’ve envisioned for years.

I wanted to create a space that feels different from the moment you walk through the door. A space where you don’t feel rushed, where you can exhale, and where you can feel truly cared for.

My hope is that every person who comes to Authentic Approach feels seen, heard, and comfortable being exactly where they are. Some days your body may need focused therapeutic work. Other days, it may simply need rest, gentleness, and permission to let go.

There is no expectation to arrive with everything figured out.

We’ll listen to your body together and create a session that meets you where you are.

This is your time. Your body. Your experience.
And it’s my honor to be a part of it.

Ready when you are

Start with what you need today.

You don’t have to know what technique you need before you arrive. Rachael will meet you there.
